Do you know how you are connected with weather? Not just with you, weather is also deeply connected with your moods. Although weather could not cure the illness of the body but it is able to cure the illness of the mind. Actually, weather is a powerful force undeniably linked to human health & well–being.

EFFECTS ON SUMMER –

“SUMMER PASSES & ONE REMEMBERS ONE’S EXUBERANCE”

Hot climate in summer can cause heat stroke. Mainly summer has an effect on skin, brain & mood.

ON SKIN-

In summer, hot weather increases water loss from the body means dehydration. Dehydration is responsible for dry & red skin. More sweat can excrete more waste substances from the body. It also helpful for skin cell production.

ON BRAIN-

Hot environment is related to the brain function. High temperature can destroy the brain cells. It also effects on thinking because warm temperature can deplete glucose levels.

In case of mood, aspects of weather beyond heat & Sunshine play an important role. Humidity can make people more tired & irritable. For this reason, in summer, we can easily become tired after a small work.  Depression & lowered mood tends to increase with a rise in temperature.

Autumn’s shorter days & longer nights can affect everything in our bodies. Everything means from circadian rhythm including our sleep patterns to hormonal balance.

The change in season can also trigger a seasonal depression, called seasonal affective depression.

ON MOOD -

In autumn negative moods will be amplified. This happens because of decreased exposure Sunlight & vitamin D.

ON BRAIN-

Do you know autumn can sharp your memory? According to new research it is found that our brain works better at different times of the year & autumn is when it’s in its prime. From various studies it was clear that in autumn brain functioning was higher.

ON HEALTH-

Winter is a trouble season for asthma patients. It also affects on skin. Cool weather is responsible for dry skin. Cold weather can increase the risk of heart attack. Hypothermia is common in winter season.

Winter helps to increase the production of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that affects mood. Mainly SAD begins in autumn. Low Sunlight affect the internal body clock that can lead to feeling of depression.

Winter can improve your brain function as well as your memory.

Spring is the king of seasons for its comfortable temperature. Most people feel an increase in energy, optimism & excitement with the arrival of spring. The increased light triggers the release of Dopamine, (“happy chemical”) that helps us feel happier.  

 

It is very surprising to think that our mood is not in our hands. These are the magic of some neurotransmitter that are controlled by different seasons. Actually, we are the part of nature & nature drives us all. Love the nature & enjoy the beauty of different seasons.
